Tiny Habit Compound Growth Calculator

Tiny Habit Compound Growth Calculator

See what a small daily improvement adds up to over time.

This tool was built by Serge using established math and public sources. My work focuses on the practical side of focus, habits, and discipline. My tools are for educational purposes and give practical guidance, not professional advice.

A 1% daily improvement sounds small. Over weeks and months, small changes stack on top of each other. This calculator shows the compounded result of a repeated daily improvement, and what the same rate of decline would do instead. Enter your numbers below and press Calculate.

How this works

The calculator applies your daily rate to itself, once per day, for the number of days you choose. The formula is: result = (1 + rate/100) raised to the power of days. A 1% daily gain compounds because each day's improvement builds on the day before, not on the original starting point.

Understanding your result

The figure shown is a multiplier, not a percentage. A result of 3.0 means your starting point has effectively tripled over the period you chose. The comparison line shows what the same rate would do in reverse, as a decline, so you can see the cost of the opposite direction.

Important note

This is a math model, not a measurement of any specific skill or habit. Real improvement rarely follows a perfectly steady daily percentage. Use this as a way to think about direction and consistency, not as a prediction of an exact outcome.

Scientific basis

The underlying math is standard exponential and compound growth, as explained in these sources:
